Third floor common room- Sunday afternoon

Annie had decided to take it upon herself to clean up a little bit this afternoon. You're welcome, third floor. She'd turned on the radio because music always made cleaning a little more fun, and she was done with the kitchen before she knew it.

So she went out to the living room, dusted a little and fluffed the pillows, all while bopping around the common room, and there really didn't need to be any reason not to dance around to good, peppy music, right?

Dave was on his way back to his room with his precious, precious coffee when he heard the music in the common room. While he was curious, priorities were priorities, and he dropped the coffee packets off at his room before coming back to investigate.
"What's going on here?" he asked.

"Just cleaning," Annie said, unself-consciously giving the sofa a little bump with her hip.

"Just checking, you weren't bitten by anything, right? No gremlins, nothing like that?" Dave asked. And his foot may have been tapping. What? It was catchy music.

"Nope! Music just makes cleaning things more fun," she explained, still bopping along to it. "You don't notice ammonia fumes nearly as much, either!"

"Oh, what the hell. Want any help?" Dave asked. "I can't promise I'll be doing as much dancing as you, though."

"Sure, but I can pretty much guarantee you're going to end up dancing," she warned.

"That just sounds like the kind of challenge I'm going to lose," Dave said. "But I'll take you up on it."

He stepped... WALKED, not stepped. Walked normally over to the coffee table to start straightening up the remotes and anything else that might be on it.

While his foot kept tapping.

If there was a dance party, there was a Miley. It was law.

"Hey!" she chirped, bopping her way into the room where the music was coming from. "What's up?"

"Nothing! Just straightening up," Annie said with a little twirl. "Music helps."

"It so does," Miley agreed. "It'd be better if it was Bieber, though."

Yes, thank you, Miley.

"Right, that guy you made out with?"

She still thought Miley was a damn liar for that.

"We did not make out," Miley corrected her. "We just kissed."

Then she spotted Dave. "Aaaaand that's my boyfriend." Awkward!

"Does he not know?" Annie asked with a lowered voice, still dancing, because that was what one did at an impromptu dance party.

"I never exactly brought it up?" Miley tried, continuing to dance. "But I never brought up the thing with Jesse McCartney either, or... a lot of things." Oops?

"Hey, Miley. Here for the cleaning or the dancing?" Dave asked. He was dancing a tiny bit by this point, but nothing too bouncy.

"Dancing!" Miley chirped. "How about you? Gonna grab the ol' tap shoes and give it a shot?"

"I'm pretty sure this isn't a tap dance and cleaning party," Dave said. "But I'm here mainly for the cleaning. At least that's what I'm going to claim."

"Come on, dance," Miley insisted playfully, reaching for his hands to try to tug him into an open spot of floor. "It's fun!"

"When people complain that the TV is dusty, I'm going to blame you," Dave said. He let himself be pulled along, though.

Yes. "Let." He wasn't weak or anything.

Matt had been studying when he heard the music start and decided to take a break and investigate. "Someone having a party in here?" he called out.

"Looks like!" Annie called back, boogieing.

"It doesn't require dressing in feathers or glitter, does it?"

That might be a requirement after Rio.

"...No," she said, slowing her dancing a little. "Should it?"

"No, not at all," Matt said with a smirk. "The last time I ended up dancing it turned out to be a costumed thing in Rio. There... there were a lot of feathers. I'm kind of glad I couldn't see my costume."

"But the costumes were the best part!" Annie had no idea which event he'd been to, mind. "Everyone was so festive."
