Pride Meeting, First Floor Rec Room, Wednesday Afternoon

"Hey, guys," Petra said from where she sat on the couch--wearing sweats, her hair pulled back in a ponytail, her only makeup concealer, lip balm, and mascara. Oh, and she was holding a large cup of tea, and a bag of cough drops sat on the table next to her. Yeah, Petra wasn't 100%. "So I woke up with a sore throat this morning, so don't expect a lot of talking from me." She grimaced apologetically, then said, "So, I don't know, just talk among yourselves...any issues you've had lately. Maybe we want to do something for St. Patrick's Day? I mean, there are rainbows with the whole leprechaun thing." She coughed a few times into her hand, then said a little hoarsely, "So yeah, just let me know what you think."

Along with the usual suspects, snackwise, there was an electric kettle and an assortment of teabags, if anyone else wanted hot tea.

Kenzi had brought chips. She might even share.

Hanna was usually a coffee person, but tea was okay sometimes. This was one of those times.

Oooh, tea. Gabrielle wouldn't say no to that; she found herself a peppermint teabag and brewed up a cup to go with her pastries.

Talk about what's up with you or any ideas you might have. Also, St. Patrick's Day mixer: yea or nay?

Tara hadn't gotten a certain text yet, so she was still on an even keel as she took her place in the meeting circle, cup of tea in hand.

"I like the idea of a Patrick's Day mixer," she volunteered. "As long as we don't dye anything green that shouldn't be."

"Define 'shoudn't'." Kenzi grinned at her. "As long as it washes off..."

Tara laughed. "I was thinking of like, green mashed potatoes. Green punch. Green tuna salad. It's creepy."

"Green tuna salad? Eeeuugh." Kenzi made a face. "Okay, totally valid point there, that's just... ugh. Green punch is fun. Green tuna no no no."

Tara stretched out her legs thoughtfully. "Green punch is okay if it tastes like lime," she decided. "Or, um, mint. I just don't like food to, um, look wrong."

"Like it's spoiled?" Kenzi offered, grinning. "Yeahno. Some of that's fun, just to see what people will eat, but no point in wasting food." That was a crime! "Hmm, I bet I can find us some good green punch recipes. Non-alcoholic, that was a thing right? 'Cause I know some people gotta avoid it. There can be green alcohol for people knowing what they want."

"That makes sense," Tara nodded. "I mean, I don't ... really drink or care if other people drink, but probably we shouldn't plan on green booze at a school party."

"Heh. Although people might sneak it in," Kenzi pointed out. "But. As long as we start out with it un-spiked... Green frosted cookies, maybe? Or should we go with the cupcakes again?"

"I like cookies," Tara decided. "We could see if the bakery does shapes, like, shamrocks and pots of gold..."

"Oooo, yeah. Oh! Hey!" Kenzi said up abruptly. "Do you think real leprechauns with real gold will come out for the holiday? It could happen!"

"Kenzi!" Petra rasped when she overheard that. "We've been over this! No booze at a school sponsored club mixer. Or we're gonna get disbanded or something."

"Fiiiiine." Kenzi made a face and stretched out, then pointed at Petra. "But it's St. Patrick's Day. You know people are gonna drink!"

"And they can do that, whatever, but at the bar, not at a club party. Are you trying to get me in trouble?" Petra asked.

It was possible the sore throat had her a little cranky.

"They'd trace it back to us too easily anyway," Kenzi said, hanging her head upside down over the edge of a desk, pigtails falling on either side of her face. "That's no challenge."

She's sucking on a cough drop like her life depends on it.

Bet he's not sick.

No, no he was not. But he was carrying a small child with him.

So... that made up for it. Maybe.

Sadly this is method RP...
