The Roof, Saturday afternoon

"Climbing the tree, Squirrel #1 is going for the acorn... hot in pursuit, Chipmunk! I'm telling you sports fans, this is an incredible-- Oh my god! Squirrel #2 comes out of nowhere to assist his teammate, and they have *both* skydived from the tree! This is incredible!"

That's right sports fans. It's FOX SPORTS LIVE from the roof!

[ooc: Scully is now veteran sportscaster Vin Scully, reporting on the sports action LIVE from the dorm roof.]

A healthy, curious gnome girl could only spend so long singing into the mirror before she got really bored. Juliet wasn't sure how much trouble she'd get into for breaking out of the bedroom, but it was okay: She knew how to disguise herself so she'd never, ever get caught. She was a gnome ninja.

Which was why it totally looked like an innocent sock -- albeit a sock with arms, legs, and eyes -- was loitering at the ends of the roof.

At least, it looked that way until the "sock" forgot herself and started jumping up and down to cheer the second squirrel. She had a thing for underdogs.

"SQUIRREL!" Juliet yelped, completely forgetting she was meant to be stealthy. She jumped up and down and cheered enthusiastically.

"Not at all!" Juliet said, then equivocated. "That is, the squirrels always do seem smarter than the chipmunks back in the garden, so I thought that might give them the edge, but the chipmunks gave them a run for it! Terribly exciting!"
