Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night

Kenzi had made a big bowl of popcorn, grabbed a liter of Diet Coke from the fridge, and settled in to channel-surf. "Law & Order SUV... reality TV... cooking show?... Ooo. Excellent."

Meta for The Shawshank Redemption. It was always fun to see other people in prison. Especially when it wasn't her.

"Audrey Hepburn is classic awesome," Kenzi admitted. "Everybody still knows that. She made some other good movies you can catch up on... whoa. You have like fifty years of good stuff to catch up on, don't you?" She pointed at Anna. "And we still gotta do the computer thing. This weekend, maybe?"

No wonder she had been so mean to Anna. Kenzi shook her head, watching Red and Andy talk about Zihuatenejo, Mexico. "My mom was in to ABBA. And terrible, terrible Russian rockers. I got into goth rock just to piss her off, then decided I liked it." She grinned. "Reminds me. Did you see there's a play this coming weekend?"

"I'm on the crew," Kenzi said proudly. "Helping with the props. Rapunzel and I already painted the sets and all. It's a fun show. And totally something your mom would hate!" Always good! "ABBA's a Swedish rock group. Their music isn't terrible, but it's pretty repetitive."
