Crush party!- 6th floor common room- Friday night

Today was a busy one, and as soon as the play was over it was time to dash back to the dorms to make all the last-minute touch-ups for the party. It was as beachified as someplace in the dorms could be, there were plenty of (non-alcoholic) tropical drinks, and glitter everywhere.

Glitter, sand, totally the same thing.

And, Annie decided, considering the rampant "Do you want to go to the party?" happening last night, it was probably a good thing they hadn't gone the bouncer route.

[OCD going up! If you want to come and haven't received an invitation, totally feel free to say Annie tracked you down and invited you. So, technically open to all! *nods*]

"I bet it makes it easier to attract praise and adulation," Bruce said. "Speaking of which, you were great."

Quinn preened. "I felt like we were all pretty great," she said. "And it was fun. I don't really miss cheer? But I do ... sort of miss performing."

"I can see why," Bruce said. "It has to be a rush, being in front of everyone like that."

"It's always been one for me," Quinn said. "You get your adrenaline up before, and then you get it right, and then ... for a while, you don';t have to go back to real life."

She blinked at him. "Have you ever acted or anything? Team sports?"

"I've played a little basketball, but not much," Bruce said. Because he paid the Globetrotters to train him. No, really. "Martial arts, but that hasn't really been in public. But no acting, no singing. Nothing like that."

Which isn't to say that he hadn't trained in all of those things.
