Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday night
The ceremony was over. Nothing had eaten his diploma. He got to test out the taser function of his grapple. He punched a bear until it cried (basically).
Bruce was having a pretty great day.
Of course, the day was ending soon, and it was almost time to start focusing on leaving in a few days. Almost time. For tonight, he could give a small token of thanks to the students of Fandom for the past three years by paying for pizza, cake, and refreshments and getting it set up in the common room.
Yes, it was completely impromptu. But if people remembered him putting together a quick celebration, maybe they would focus less on him tasering a bear. Probably not. Oh well, he could deal with being known for that here.
[OOC: Open for an impromptu celebration!]

He paused for a moment to consider how to phrase it both delicately and without ascribing too much value to whatever it was he had at the moment.. "... someone who's held my attention recently. I'm terribly sorry."

Besides, this meant that there would be no awkward conversations about why she couldn't do certain things because she could lose her magic if something went wrong.

Also, Rilla would yell at him if she thought for a second that he was misleading a girl. He didn't particularly want to inspire that kind of reaction.

"There were no upfront because there were no intentions," she said logically. "It was nice and sweet when we weren't in our right minds, and I would want us to remain some kind of friend. It's a rare that someone like me meets a male that she feels safe to be friends with and who is not from my world."

"Well, if there's one trait I hope to embody, it's a sense of safety," Bruce said.
[OOC: And I need sleep. Good night!]
