Third Floor Common Room | Wednesday Afternoon | 5/16

Thelma Bates had settled in to the common room with a bowl of popcorn in her lap, and a small white dry-erase board next to her with a marker, just in case. With the TV tuned to a marathon of Bitterwoman, she actually felt rather at home.

"You know," she said, mainly just talking to herself, "I've always wondered why this show hasn't been remade with some sexy new star or something. Not that you should remake the classics, just a thought I've had."

She really needed to learn to stop talking to herself.

[ooc: Open CR is open.]

This wasn't Atton's common room, but he wasn't planning to let that get in the habit of stopping him when he was bored.

"Maybe if they do whatever this is again they can make the outfits skimpier," he announced as he passed by on his (bored) way down.

Atton? Not so sure what vinyl was, but he got the gist.

"I don't know," he mused. "Tight pants sounds like it could make this a whole lot more enjoyable."

He hadn't seen more than a minute of it.

Still, that was apparently enough cause to waltz on in and crash down a couple of seats away from Thelma.

"Popcorn's the snack thing, right," Atton said, nodding at it. "Convince me about the show, I'll think about it."

"What's a goat?" Atton asked.

It was possible he was just messing at her at this point.

He did, actually. Just figured they stuck to weird, backwater places.

Atton shrugged. "I'm not from your galaxy," he said. "But you don't see me making fun of all your backwards technology."
suitably_heroic: (lsp: i see how it is!)

"Hey, I can tell you, there's nothing little about me," Atton assured her.

Barking up the wrong tree, Atton.

Atton's arms crossed in front of his... upper... chest for no reason at all, dammit.

"That is not what I meant," he said. "Wow, you think you're funny, don't you?"
suitably_heroic: (dsp: determined)

"Who said anything about flirting?" Atton retorted.

You did, Atton. Or at least you were really unsubtle about it. "I was just making conversation. About this show we're supposed to be watching."
suitably_heroic: (dsp: really?)

"...You're awfully chatty for a dead person."

Excuse Atton for not having this figured out yet.
