Roof, Sunday Evening
William wasn't typically given to brooding, but having a physical representation of one's soul manifest was... certainly sobering. To say the least. Yesterday he'd spent the majority of his time by himself (or, well, as by himself as was possible, all things considered), but today he'd felt the need to get out for a bit.
He wasn't quite in the mood for television in a common room, though, so he was up on the roof, Merak the gibbon scampering about the edge, and him not trying to think of the possibility of her falling off it.
[ooc: roof and post open!]

It made something in her chest remember hurting, thinking about how much different things might have been in her house if she hadn't been alone, if she'd had a piece of herself to help her be sane. Which was why she wound up on the roof, even if she insisted it was so the bird, Tuomo, could stretch his wings. "You're not fooling me, you know," the raven said as they walked through the door (not doorway) onto the roof.
"Hush," Anna told him.

"Oh!" he looked up, offering Anna and the raven a smile. "I'm sorry. I didn't hear you arrive."

"Very quietly," the raven on her shoulder agreed soberly, nodding its head.

"I'm afraid the season has been delayed," Anna said gently. "Because of...I don't really understand it. The owners of the teams don't like the players' contracts or something?" She was sure that couldn't really be it. That made no sense.
