Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

Toby'd gone out for pizza and had come back with... several pizzas. So, naturally, he did what was traditional in these situations and headed for the common room.

Flipping through the channels in search of something good resulted in stumbling across some sort of... live feed. Toby wasn't sure exactly what was going on, except that it seemed to involve someone playing a video game? Possibly? It was entertaining, at least.

Once again, if Sia wasn't on the third floor, she was on the fifth.

And eyeing the TV. This happened a lot. "What's this?"
notconflicted: (actually impassive)

"I had no idea they televised those things," Sia admitted, but she found a seat anyway. Apparently not knowing what was going on on something wouldn't stop her from trying it.
notconflicted: (oh?)

"Do they think people will pay more if it's something ridiculous?" she wondered.
notconflicted: (thoughtful)

"I've no idea. That's why I have to ask," Sia said with a bit of a shrug. "If I were going to give money to a charity, I'd do it because I believed in it, not because someone was doing something stupid."

Sia was probably not a big supporter of any 5K's, either.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Personally she thought it was a good thing, but call her curious.
notconflicted: (okay)

"Correct answer," Sia said, almost smiling.

Sometimes the smell of free pizza was too alluring to pass up.

"Hey. You sharing?" Richie might grab a piece and run if the answer was no but he was pretty sure this much pizza was always for sharing around here.

"And what is going on there?" He waved a hand at the TV.

"That's a thing people do now?" That was just weird. But way more interesting than the red kettles with the stupid bells. "Weird."

He picked up a slice and grinned. "Thanks."

[identity profile] richieryan.livejournal.com 2012-11-20 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
"I hate those bells," Richie said. "Super annoying especially when they get the little kids to stand there and look sad at you." It wasn't like he'd ever had any money to throw in there anyway but that never stopped the glaring or the guilt trips.

"Probably shouldn't say things like that out loud," Richie said. "Or we'll wake up tomorrow surrounded by bells and kettles begging for cash."

Richie, stop giving the island ideas. Just stop.

"So we're pretty much doomed now, right?"

Richie would just drown his sorrows in pizza. Or smother them with it because that made a little more sense.

[identity profile] richieryan.livejournal.com 2012-11-20 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
"Damn," Richie sighed. "And here I'd gone a whole week without dooming anything."

[identity profile] richieryan.livejournal.com 2012-11-20 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
"It's a goal." Richie nodded solemnly. "Everyone's always been telling me I needed goals and ambition."
