Fifth Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

Jeremy was just intending to have a nice night in. He'd ordered pizza (more than one – there was plenty to share), he was wearing comfy (yet still ridiculously expensive) clothes, and he was all ready to spend his evening in the common room, watching something nice and maybe even holiday themed on the TV, and chatting with his fellow students should they be drawn in by the totally amazing smell of pizza.

But then he flopped down on the couch and turned the TV on. And found that there was nothing but cycling on. On any channel. Granted, this time around it was at least a bit different on each channel: old races, new races, people just leisurely biking to places, and the odd bit of bicycle maintenance advice. But that didn't really help Jeremy who was frowning at the TV and clicking through channels like maybe one of them actually offered something he'd want to watch.

But no.

"Aw, come on! Really? Again?"

Did the TV really hate him or something?

"Nice."

Oh, Stiles, this was going to lead to some interesting conversations later on.

"Well, you know," Cade said vaguely between bites of pizza. "If you have to have a tail, it might as well be a nice one."

"Okay, next question," Topher said, "how frequently do you see this tail? Because I like malleable tails as much as the next geek, but Stiles is sort of a pants guy."

Well, this had taken a turn for the weird.

"I don't stalk the guy--leave that to his boyfriend with the puppy or whatever--but, you know, I've seen it when he gets changed," Cade lied.

"That is super blechy and I'm sorry I asked," Topher informed him. "Who changes in front of people?"

...Normal people, Topher. People who didn't change clothes in bathroom stalls even after having shared a room for almost two years.

Cade stared at him. "Who doesn't?"

Granted, Cade had arms and abs he didn't mind people looking at...

Topher slowly raised a hand. He'd kind of thought that was normal.

Guess not.

"...My roommate's really weird, so..."

"Does he have a tail?"

Cade, Stiles didn't have a tail.

Topher shrugged. "Wouldn't know," he pointed out. "Don't look at him without pants on."

"Which one's your roommate?" Cade asked.

"Dave... I want to say 'Nelson'?"

Look how much he cared about his roommate! Aww, it was kinda sweet.

"Never heard of him," said Cade, social butterfly.

"Can't see why you would have," said Topher, social asshole.
