Fifth Floor Common Room, Friday Evening

Toby'd been kind of... well, kind of a hermit the past few months, let's admit it. But with what seemed like most of the population off on holidays, things were quiet enough that he felt like maybe venturing out into a common room could be a thing.

Common room and... Dakota and Madison Work Stuff Out. The episode where Dakota had a crush on some guy which resulted in a series of adorable misunderstandings and an important life lesson about being yourself at the end.

Anna...had also been something of a hermit the last few months. And just as she had started to drag herself out of her hermitage, the dorms had cleared out for the holidays.

Alas.

Now she was just haunting wandering around the dorms, bored, when she found Toby. Who just so happened to be one of the few people who might be able to answer one of her most pressing questions since she'd started paying attention to things again:

"Toby," she said as she drifted silently into the room, "You have to tell me. Are there often years when the hockey is summarily cancelled?"

She didn't really understand what was going on, but she wanted it to stop.

Anna did tend to have that effect on people. "Well, I'd like for it to stop now," she said, folding her arms. "What's the point of having thirty teams if they're not going to actually play?"

"And Arizona?" Anna asked, flopping down dramatically in a chair. "I don't think they even have water in Arizona, never mind ice. This is all so unfair."

Anna peered dubiously at the screen for a moment before asking, "What are you watching?"
