Rilla, inspired by the wedding she'd organized over the weekend, had filled the rec room with flowers, pots of tea and fancy sandwiches. She thought it looked very welcoming for any girls who might stop in.

And don't mind Stacey but she was going to love Rilla forever for putting out things she could actually eat. So she was in a good mood, and when it looked like everyone had arrived that was going to, she gave them all a big smile and said, "Hi there, everybody! Welcome to the first meeting of Kappa Delta Gremlin."

"I've been part of this sorority since I was a freshman," Rilla said, "and I'm not entirely certain why the name has to be in Greek. Anyway, our goals here are to have fun, make friends and raise money for charities. If you're interested in any of that, this is the place for you! Welcome!"

"So since this is our first meeting, we should probably all introduce ourselves and see if there's anything anyone would really like to do for an event?" Stacey said. Clearly she was used to handling the math end of meetings.

"And eat the snacks!" Rilla added. "Please. I don't want to drag them all the way to the fifth floor!"

Mercy had decided to give this club a try, but she wasn't quite sure it was her style.

Stacey was totally getting a little sandwich and looking around to see who all was here. And hoping they were all the creative sorts.

Sholeh arrived late; after her disastrous shift at the library, she wasn't going anywhere until she'd showered, washed her hair, changed clothing, and attempted to hang up her sodden gown to dry.

...So she could wash it again later, obviously.

An American sorority? These were supposed to be Very Cool according to magazines and such, so Minako was here, hoping some of the sophistication would rub off on her.

Lucrezia glanced around the room, excited by the prospect of this club. She took a sandwich and smiled at those she knew. And at those she didn't.

Event ideas are welcome! So are "hey, we should totally do manicures."

Lucrezia cleared her throat. "We could find events to help the less fortunate," she suggested. "I know we intend to raise money for charity, but we could also take on projects that would help directly."

She was unsure how one did such things in this century, but she had helped to build an orphanage and renovate a brothel in Rome this summer; surely there was something they might do.

Pinkie Pie was around! Though after class, today, she was eyeing the snacks suspiciously for evidence of sentience.
