Third Floor Common Room, Late Saturday Morning

That Korra was ransacking the common room cupboards for food was not that unusual a thing, though usually she wasn't quite so tall, shirtless or, well, male. Though she was trying to focus on the tall part, since it was helpful with reaching the higher shelves.

Still, if there was any doubt whatsoever as to the identity of the only Water Tribesman on the island, the polar bear dog inching ever closer to the couch would probably help clear that up.

Alec was basically the best person ever for bringing her clothes and reassuring her that this was a Thing That Happened. (Not that she was all that reassured, but it was nice to know that she probably wasn't stuck this way forever) And having pants meant that Kate eventually decided she could venture into public to find food.

She saw the polar bear dog first then transferred her gaze to the shirtless guy. It was a nice shirtlessness which was a confusing thought when she was in a guy's body.

"So...uh," Kate was startled by her own voice again. "Is the bear usually a student?" Because the answer might determine if she needed to go find her bow or not.
