1st Floor Rec Room | Tuesday Afternoon

Even though Jim knew that Jackson would be out doing his lacrosse thing, he still didn't head back to his room after his class. Didn't really feel like it. Instead, he wandered into the rec room since he hadn't been there before. A lot of the things were foreign to him but he knew video game systems when he saw them. He hadn't had them growing up or anything but he was a smart kid and he'd been in a few arcades growing up.

So, Jim flopped down and picked up the Xbox controller. He turned the system on and made a face at the title screen that came up. Chess? Whoever'd been in here before him had been boring apparently.

But, just as he was shaking his head and getting ready to shut the boring thing off, he got a message from someone challenging him to a game. Jim Kirk couldn't resist a challenge especially when this stranger was being a cocky sonofabitch.

Challenge accepted. Jim settled down to play chess. The game itself would probably bore him (too easy) but showing up someone else? That was always fun.
