The Roof, Wednesday Afternoon
It wasn't a bad day. Not really. The weather didn't completely suck, Sparkle didn't have work or classes or anything. Hell, his detention for camel-stealing wasn't even until the end of the week. Nope, it wasn't a bad day at all, really.
It it was still a Wednesday. One of those 'halfway over' Wednesdays that had Sparkle making faces at the prospect of slogging through the rest of the week. And, to top all of that off, he was bored. Nightfall wasn't even for a few hours yet, so he couldn't amuse himself by running around the island, trying to break into places he wasn't supposed to be.
If he was going to pass all of that time between then and now just sitting around, he was going to take advantage of the above-freezing weather in order to sit up on the roof and have a smoke, then. Because why spend a boring Wednesday afternoon doing something productive? Hah.
[Open roof is open and I'm around! I'M TAKING A DAY OFF DAMMIT.]

"Oh, hi," he said, very aware of the glitter in his hair for a moment. "I didn't know you smoked."
His tone was kind of impressively non-judgmental, for Alec.

There was really only a finite number of places he could go that sold them, and they caught on quickly enough to the fact that he was too young to be buying them.
But drinking was okay!
no subject
Only at Fandom, yo.
"Um. Good to see you," he added with an awkward swing of his arms.
no subject
Sparkle hadn't! But what else was new?

"Hey," she said. "So is the roof usually the hip place to hang out?"

Hell, Atton didn't even know why he was up here.

Not that Sparkle knew the first thing about gardening, either.
no subject
Hey, it was entirely possible.
He sauntered along the roof, tossing a glance in the direction of said garden.
no subject
... There were probably worse goals to have, right?

He'd sensed that there were other beings up here while he was climbing the stairs, but decided to keep going anyway; when he emerged through the doorway with his datapad in hand he was scowling about it, and with a sigh he started toward a spot away from everyone else.
Anakin was such a social butterfly.

"HEY. Heeeeey! HEY OVER THERE."
Sparkle just had this thing about personal space, and the people who wanted it while they were anywhere near him.
"What you doin'? The party's on this side of the roof!"
There was no party, Sparkle.
no subject
He paused and turned, running a hand through his hair and looking rather put-upon. "Sorry, I'm not feeling very festive."
He never was. It was a shortcoming of his.
no subject
'We' being 'Sparkle,' and 'party' being 'pestering,' of course. He was already sauntering his way across the roof in order to do some more of that partying thing, see?
"It's a really hoppin' party, as I'm sure you can tell."

Without beer, Sparkle? HOW COULD YOU.
no subject
A beat.
"We should totally get a keg."
And see how many more detentions they could queue up together!
no subject
Beat.
"I should fix that."
