Third floor common room [Afternoon]
Cade had nothing to do on Thursdays, so naturally that meant he'd slept until 1 and was now cruising the television channels looking for something to watch--women's beach volleyball. Excellent.
He was happily zoned out as he watched hot girls bounce around when his comlink went off with a brief message.
See you tomorrow. --Bantha.
"Kriff," Cade grumbled, and then it gradually dawned on him that this...thing might still be happening then.
"KARK ME," he groaned, burying his head in a pillow. "I don't want to think about that."
Ew. Two galaxies of ew.

She gave the TV a judgey look, ignoring Cade's plight because really, it would've been best to just ignore Cade altogether right now. "Is that supposed to be a sport?"

no subject
"Well, I don't really understand sports to begin with."
no subject
Quite the sportscaster he.

She wasn't wearing skimpy clothes right now. Just relatively form-fitting. "Seems about as pointless as the rest."

"Shouldn't you really be watching one of those other things instead?"
Considering the week.

[OOC: And I sleep! SP, yay?]

[ooc: You know it, bb!]

Her tone didn't seem to indicate any assumption that it was an insult. Because... insulting her would've just been stupid.
no subject
Or "sweetheart."

Less genuine curiosity, now, and more idle chit chat while she was prying her tub of Ben & Jerry's open.

And shook her head and said, "No."

You know, because she hadn't known Flick too long before things had happened. And he was definitely not a friend.
no subject
no subject
Because she was difficult like that.

He smiled at her and sauntered a little closer. "Is it one of those things where being nearer is better?"
no subject
She didn't move.
That didn't mean the pollen didn't make her react at all to him getting even a little bit closer.

Okay it was definitely more of a smirk. "You know what? I think you are. Hotter, even."

"Do you know?" she asked, playing coy. "Why?"

"Maybe you should."

He leaned in to kiss her.
no subject
Since she was kissing him back and even pulling him closer while she did that.
no subject
He slid his arms around her waist so she could stay closer.
no subject
"Okay, maybe I'm getting ideas," she murmured, mostly against his lips.
no subject
no subject
Although that generally wasn't very hard.

Dumb boys! Wasn't that obvious?
She kissed him back again, lingering for a moment that was starting to make it obvious she actually wanted more. "We should take this somewhere else."

And she was a little classier than closets. Really now.

This was going to be a fine afternoon.
