Cade was settled in on the sofa with a fork and someone's leftover pumpkin pie (was it yours? He's not sorry. It's good karking pie), flipping through the television channels: every single one of them was playing "It's a Wonderful Life."

"What happened to the karking color?" he demanded.

He wasn't going to mention that all of his Jedi friends had died.

Also far less depressing than what he wasn't mentioning. And flattery was always a good choice with her, let's face it.

Isabelle snickered. "It's a very good trait to have." Said a beautiful woman. "Not that I'm biased."
