"Seriously?" Raleigh had been dressed up like a doll by his roommate, so he looked the part of a typical girl. It had been horrifying, Zayne. Horrifying.

Joker gave Raleigh a big, winning grin. "Joker. Are you normally this sexy, or have I caught you at a bad time?"

Raleigh grinned back, offering the hand that wasn't holding an ice cream carton. "Raleigh. Normally a guy."

"Pleased to meet you," Joker said, leaning over (without getting up) in order to shake the hand. "Next time I see you, I'll... completely fail to recognize you. But there you go. Me? I'm easy to pick out from a crowd." He picked up one of his crutches by its middle and tapped his head with it. "...Because of the hat."

Joker wandered in, moving even more awkwardly than normal with his crutches and leg braces now the wrong size.

"There are no words for how sleazy and wrong this is. I can't believe that anyone would be so crass and... and crude as to organize something like this."

Said the girl who was finding a seat with a good view.

Surreal gave the sign a bit of a side-eye as she wandered in, intent on stealing some of the ice cream. "Classy," she commented dryly, digging in a drawer for a spoon. "You boyos really that desperate?"

"Oh, they are," Joker told her. "I'm just here for the trainwreck factor."

Surreal gave a half-shrug and headed toward the freezer. "I normally save that sort of thing for those who are going to make it worth my while," she said cheerfully. "--but I might make an exception if we start placing bets and the prize is decent."

"Oh, that's just a happy bonus," she quipped, leaning back around the freezer door to throw him a wink. "I know lots of ways to put a lad to shame, but having the bigger prick would be a new one. But there's got to be more in it for me than that to whip it out. I make a very pretty boy, and that sort of thing is never free."
