There were some really weird truths of her life that Jessice had to deal with. Like apparently it was possible for her to scheme to cause the drug related deaths of at least two peo-- sentient beings. And when she wasn't in her own mind, she could be pretty slutty. And she was going to regularly lose weekend training time so maybe in the future schedule classes n the ends of the school week.

She had to deal with these things. But instead of doing that, she was going to watch the Olympics and eat some pizza because sometimes after a weird weekend, you needed to drown in sauce and cheese. Especially when you had a crazy metabolism that meant you wouldn't actually gain any weight or lose anything from her training.

Of course Sia was up here the day after a weird weekend.

"Well, that was stupid," she said, taking a seat.

"You didn't have it that bad, did you?" Jessica checked. "You seemed fairly normal."

"I had a split personality who took over and tried to blackmail everyone," Sia said. "Also I ended up as a mole for the Skywalkers because Atton threatened to kill me with a rice allergy."

"Okay, that's worse than I thought," Jessica admitted. "Are you actually allergic to rice?"

"Not even a little." Sia shrugged. "What was your story?"

"One of my old teachers was my mother. Well, I say mother, but she kidnapped some kid when he was a baby and I was faking being him? And everyone believed I was a boy because I was wearing a hat, which brings up a couple kinds of body image issues. Oh, and I was kind of a caffeine addict and gave two people fatal doses of that."

"You win," Sia decided. "Which teacher was it?"

"Jaina Solo?" Jessica asked. "She hasn't even taught here in a while, so I'm guessing she just can't resist the pull of weird crap."

"Ah. She's my great-grandmother," Sia shared. "Which I suppose would have also made you my fake great-aunt."

"Fake great-uncle," Jessica corrected. "And really? She seems so young."

"Different timelines. This also makes Professor Skywalker my... great-great-great-great-grandfather." She didn't advertise any of this, but Jessica she could share with.

"Okay, I knew that time was malleable with Fandom, but I didn't realize we had it that weird," Jessica said.

Sia nodded. "I've met several relatives from different points in time, and none of them seem to connect. I don't even pretend to understand it. I just know it gets more confusing over the stranger weekends."

"I met a version of my cousin Peter on one of those stranger weekends. Well, two versions, technically," Jessica mentioned. "Actually, that was the strangest weekend. I'm not elaborating."

"Wouldn't dream of asking you to," Sia assured her. "This town enjoys itself far too much at our expense."

"I'd say that the town could bite me, but I don't want to know what that would inspire," Jessica mused.
