Second Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening
You were not going to find Will in the kitchen. Even if he knew dinner would be a good thing, he was not going to attempt to cook anything. Even the microwave was probably too much for his supremely lacking cooking skills. He'd burn something and there'd be a fire and an alarm and an evacuation and he just didn't want to be the cause of that.
#58: FACING THE TRUTH IS A LOT EASIER, IN THE LONG RUN, THAN LYING TO YOURSELF.
This probably wasn't what his dad meant by facing the truth about his cooking skills but he was going with it anyway. So, his dinner consisted of some cheese and some crackers. Sure, he could have ordered something but he was just feeling too lazy to attempt that. Not when he'd already gotten himself so comfortable on the couch and his attention was on some ridiculous movie he'd found on television. It seemed like the perfect way to spend the last evening before classes got started again.
Besides, cheese and crackers was a classic! At least it wasn't ramen noodles, right?
