The Garden, Tuesday Early Evening
It was true that no one so far had gotten mad at her for anything and her classes were being held outside and no one mentioned it was weird when she left her room and so, even though Alluka was still (maybe a little scared) concerned about getting caught, she'd decided to, at the very least, wander outside enough to go and sit on the grass.
Grass was fun. It was all tickly and funny-shaped and hard to tie into knots. (She tried.) When she got tired of that, she flopped down on her back and looked up at the blue, blue sky. It was prettier than the mural in her room back home, she decided, even though the real sun didn't smile, and just burned her eyes if she stared at it too long.
And (still) there was no one to rage at her for leaving her room. Not that her family had ever raged at her--she'd never even managed to get the door open and Alluka, honestly, couldn't remember the last time she'd tried--but… well… few people were as scary as her parents were. She wasn't brave like Killua.
(But then, she didn't have to be.)
Alluka sat up, her giraffe in her lap, and looked around the lawn. She didn't feel quite like trying to go to town, but maybe she'd just explore the grounds around the dorms and school.
So that was what she did, right up until she saw something so amazing that it sent her flying back to the dorms, racing up stairs, and right to Mabel's room. She knocked eagerly on the door, not even considering that Mabel might not be there.
"Mabel, Mabel, Mabel!"
[Mabel's thread comes first, but open to all!]

"Mabel, Mabel, Mabel!"

It was the newest, bestest thing ever that she’d ever found!
Then she did a spin, just out of sheer exuberance.

And then, with a mischievous grin on her face, she bounced over to pluck a pillow from the tree.
"Ever have a pillow fight?"
Mabel was a terrible person.
no subject
Mabel had taken a pillow! Was that allowed?
no subject
Yep. There she went, going to give Alluka a gentle bop with the pillow in her hands.
no subject
"I need to put Bubbles someplace safe!" she protested, since carrying a giraffe and swinging a pillow would be hard.
no subject
A pillow throne of his very own!
no subject
"Can Bubbles be our referee?"
no subject
Because pillowfighting was a very serious outdoor sport, now.

Alluka grinned and shook her pillow out, to get a better grip on it, and then looked at Bubbles before laughing.
"Bubbles says it's time to start!"
And, so: incoming pillow, Mabel!
no subject
Almost... Aaallllmooooost!
She should have brought her grappling hook.
no subject
"You can't reach!" she said, giggling and trying to whomp Mabel again.
no subject
She just needed one more millimeter! Just one!
She got another bop of the pillow and tripped to the side a bit, laughing, and then took that opportunity to get a running start at the next lowest pillow, instead. A run, and a leap, and a snatch, and--
"Success!"
Mabel Pines was victorious once again! Which was good, because she was going to have to resort to something drastic to get the pillow down, otherwise.
no subject
And--no, no, that would be too sensible.
Alluka cheered for Mabel's victory (what? this wasn't a war or anything!) and then promptly tried to get her again.

"You hit me!" she said, trying to sound even vaguely indignant but mostly sounding delighted. "That's terrible! I'm going to win this!"
She didn't bother to aim her next blow, just swung wildly.
no subject
Though the referee probably had a bit of a bias, being Alluka's toy and all.
Mabel, too, was incoming with some wild swinging, now. This place was great!
no subject
"That's my head!" Alluka cried, laughing after one blow. "Mabel! My hair!"
So she was going to aim for Mabel's hair! In the name of friendship!
no subject
You could tell Mabel was seriously upset about her hair by the way she was laughing and running around, randomly waving that pillow some more.
She was fierce! Fierce!
no subject
Ah well, at least the pillow made for a soft landing. She scrambled to her feet laughing, her headband askew.
"But I'm going to win!"
no subject
"I'll never surrender," Mabel declared, and came running at Alluka again, pillow in front of her like a... like a well-padded bulldozer, mostly. She wasn't going to try to plow Alluka down or anything, but the pillow made for a great shield. It would be better still if she had, say, another pillow to start swinging, or something. "En garde!"
no subject
But Alluka was totally getting ploughed down by Mabel--mostly because her reactions were awful due to laughing too hard--but, on the bright side, she did her level best to take Mabel down with her.
And then whomp Mabel over the head with the pillow.
no subject
Okay, watching Dipper get chased by a moose was up there, too.
"Okay, okay, you win! You win!"

Guess who just remembered a thing.
no subject
"Oh?"
She was always up for things that started that way!
