The roof of the dorms, Wednesday morning
Lottie wasn't going to need an email to tell her to look up and see that there were aliens. She had an excitedly barking dog and her own finely honed mystery instincts to do that for her.
She and Pepper were on the roof investigating it just now. In this particular instance, "investigating" meant taking pictures with her smartphone and texting them to Shauna and Mildred with so aliens. very space. wow. and little alien head emojis.
Pepper was investigating the emo garden. Or, you know, fertilizing it. One of those.
[open roof for any fellow non-abductees!
Note: Lottie will spend at least part of today going around looking for sadly abandoned pets once she works out that folks have gone missing. You can shook me an email if you would like an IC way to make sure your character's fuzzy/scaly/feathered friends are looked after while your character is in-sim'd.]

He'd come up to the roof to get a better look, blinking owlishly up at it before he noticed Lottie.
"What're you doing?"

The "offsite back up facility" being Shauna and Mildred's phones. Assuming they didn't delete Lottie's pictures.

Well no. He didn't, actually.

He'd noticed that too but hadn't really thought anything of it. He shifted from foot to foot.
"Anders wasn't in his room this morning. Do you mean that kind of quiet, where people aren't around?"

Forgive Nathan, he'd never really heard the stories about aliens before.

"Anyway I can help you?" If Anders was gone, Nathan wasn't going to just sit idly by either.

Of which they had established precisely zero.

"What, am I gonna do all the work for you?"

He glanced up at the ship before turning back towards the stairs.
"Be careful."
