Second floor common room, Saturday morning
Delirium had said there were cartoons on Saturday mornings, and they seemed like an interesting thing, so Lana had commandeered the TV to try watching a few. In case anybody else showed up, she made a pot of coffee and a kettle of hot water for tea. She was drinking the latter, with proper blue cream, and eating something that claimed to be cereal, but seemed more like sugar in a bowl (the milk for that had started white, but it was now a multicoloured mess).
So if anybody were looking for the Sith, they'd find her watching Looney Tunes (and a few other things) in her pajamas and eating Lucky Charms.
Totally Sithly.

"Hello, Prompto!" Kyubey said cheerfully, wriggling around so he could look at Prompto. "I live on this floor! In room 203!"

"Do you know," he said, with a laugh that was as sheepish as it was cheerful, "I had completely forgotten I had classes? I'm not even sure what they are!"
Because, well. How was he supposed to look at a schedule? Really?
And the mun had IRL things going on...no subject

He rolled over, got to his feet, and shook himself out.
no subject
"What do you mean?" he asked. "If you weren't the one being taught, were you the one teaching?"
no subject
Well, anyway, Kyubey took a few steps on over and without even asking, was going to settle himself in Prompto's lap. There, much better.
"No, my friends were students!" he said, making a noise that was suspiciously like a purr. "They hid me in their bags so I could keep them company!"
No point in admitting he could turn invisible at will right this instant now was there?

Prompto's soul was clearly vacating the building; he was completely dead of cute now, and honestly, sorry not sorry, but all bets were off once you went and sat on his lap and began making noises that were suspiciously like purrs.
He tried so hard, and he lost that battle spectacularly, enjoy yourr damn pets and ear scritches, Kyubey, you adorable little monster.
And then, he processed what was said, and that did not help matters at all.
"Ohmygod," he said, "that is the greatest thing I've ever heard."
He kind of wanted to sneak Kyubey into all his classes in a backpack now. Even better if he could go back and do that at his old school.

"I just didn't want to get them in trouble, so we came up with that idea!"

He wouldn't miss them anyway.
"I've never seen another one like me around," Kyubey said, which was almost the truth. He was still making little happy purr noises. "So we didn't want to cause a fuss or have anyone think they should experiment on me or stick me in a lab..."
no subject
"Yeah," he said, "that's no good, man. Nobody should have to go through something like that just because their different. Or for any reason at all..."
No one should have to be created for the sole purpose of stuff like that, either.
"And it worked, too, right? You guys didn't get, like, caught sneaking you around or anyhting, did you?"
no subject
"Oh, no! We were never caught!" He licked his paw, once, before adding, "And if anyone ever did see me, I was to pretend I was a stuffed animal!"
no subject
Considering he could barely stay still ever, that checked.
no subject
Was that fair? No. But that was how it was.
"It's not hard," Kyubey said, since it was actually really easy for him to do. "At least, for me. How long do you think you could stay still for?"
no subject
"Like, two seconds, dude," he said, "tops. I should probably work on that. You're probably a whole lot better at it. Hey, let's actually see it. Do your best stuffed animal impression for me."
no subject
Then went still. Completely and utterly still.
