Second floor common room, Saturday morning

Delirium had said there were cartoons on Saturday mornings, and they seemed like an interesting thing, so Lana had commandeered the TV to try watching a few. In case anybody else showed up, she made a pot of coffee and a kettle of hot water for tea. She was drinking the latter, with proper blue cream, and eating something that claimed to be cereal, but seemed more like sugar in a bowl (the milk for that had started white, but it was now a multicoloured mess).

So if anybody were looking for the Sith, they'd find her watching Looney Tunes (and a few other things) in her pajamas and eating Lucky Charms.

"Mmmmm," Prompto tilted his head thoughtfully, sipping his soda as he watched a little more to get the gist of it, "yeah, a little. Some of them, sort of zany and silly antics, things like that but not all of them. I was kind of more into the fighting adventure ones, but these were always good for when you just wanted a kind of brain drain, y'know? Not have to worry about anything and just embrace something fun..."

Lana nodded. "I suppose. Should we see if there are any of the other kind on?"

They could probably find Thundarr the Barbarian somewhere.

"If you want," Prompto shrugged a little. "This is totally fine, too, though. I think..." He trailed off a moment with a chuckle, "I might actually start to get invested in exactly where this hare-brained," please, forgive him, "idea might be going! And I wouldn't, like, want to make you change it if you're into it, I'm totally crashin' in on your common room, you're totally the queen of the remote."

Lana groaned at the pun and mimed throwing the remote at him. "I don't mind whatever you want to watch." She flipped a few channels, finally finding Jackie Chan Adventures, and left it there for a few minutes before cocking her head and changing it back to Looney Tunes. "I think this requires a bit less grounding in Earth cultures."

And Prompto had to chuckle a little at the failed venture toward something potentially different. "Yeah, I kind of lucked out on that one," he said. "Earth and Eos are definitely totally different, but there's still a lot in common that it doesn't take much to sort of...put things into context. You know there's actually even a designer on Earth, in this time period, named Vivienne Westwood? We have a designer named Vivienne Westwood, too! And, like, both Vivienne Westwoods are ah-maze-zing. It's just really wild, you know? What are the odds?"

"That sounds like a very specific overlap," Lana said. "What are their designs like?"

"Right?" said Prompto, laughing. "Like, Cup Noodle existing on this planet was interesting, but Cup Noodle's amazing, so it's not surprising, but specific names? In the same business? And I've definitely looked into it because I might have been a liiiitttle obsessed with her work back home, and there's even a lot of similarity there, too. Lots of drapework, with, like, a sort of....modernity, you know? Really classic stuff but with a sort of rebellious twist. I really dig it...both the Earth one and the Eos one! The Eos one is based out of Altissia, which is, like, super posh. I'd really love to go to her showroom there one day, can you imagine?"

Excuse him a moment for the happy little dreaming sighs.

"That does sound interesting," Lana agreed. "I'll have to look up her designs here. Earth fashion tends to be understated, from what I've seen."

Well. Compared to Sith fashion.

"I mean, there's definitely some that're out there," Prompto mused, and he laughed, "but that might just be my understated Eos fashion sensibilities talking. You gotta look at the runway for stuff like that, some of it's pretty wild, and this conversation is making me really miss having a fashion class. I always think....if this whole Crownsguard thing goes bust," which, you know, no big deal if it did, it would just be his worst nightmare come to life, "maybe I could do photography for fashion, instead. It seems like it'd be fun."

And a lot less killing involved, too.

"You'd probably be good at it," Lana agreed. "But Crownsguard sounds like it will take all your time."

Military careers didn't generally allow for time-consuming hobbies.
