With the crowd of people one floor up, Trevor was just going to sneak into the common room to get food without running into anyone in his state.

Which would be why there was a strange girl, sitting on the ground down out of sight, eating a pilfered breakfast.

Just normal things around here.

"I liked you better when you were weirdly positive," he grumbled. "Please tell me this shit goes away."

"It always does. Usually it's weekends that go weird, so maybe a couple of days like this?"

Maybe running in sprinklers during a storm would improve his mood!

"Great. Just what I needed."

"If it helps, you're not Theo my one," she pointed out.

"You're still you." Which didnt seem fair.

"Maybe I got lucky."

Wait two days.

That honestly only tracked in comparison to him and his luck.

He sighed and slumped back. "I'm hiding until this is gone."

"Is it really that bad?" Sabine asked.

"It's not me." Which was very important. Or maybe he just missed his dick.

Could be that.

"Okay, I can get that," Sabine said, more sympathetically. "It'll be over soon enough, I'm sure."

"Tell me the other people look ridiculous at least." Because that actually would cheer him up.

"Wayne still has plaid," Sabine tried.

"You're shit at this," he replied with a snort.

"Hey, I'm trying sympathy here," Sabine shrugged.

She didn't do it a ton!

"Not your strong suit, huh?" Like it was his or anything.

"You're pretty as a girl?" Sabine tried, in lieu of an answer.

"Thanks," he replied dryly. "That was my main concern about waking up with tits."

"You wanted to know other people look ridiculous, and you don't look ridiculous!"

See! Trying!

"You know, I already feel better about everything." Look, he was cheered up by her trying. For the wrong reasons.

Sabine sighed.

"I'm just gonna leave you alone then," she decided.

Which had been what he was hiding out here for to begin with.

"Tell me I'm pretty again!" He got punched so much in canon, Sabine. So. Much.
