Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [04/13].
Yes, there were tiny humans running around the island all amuck and energetic (and, in his experience so far, loud), which definitely gave Wayne pause about Monday Morning Breakfast, because it just seemed like a recipe for a kid trap if he ever heard one, but Monday Morning Breakfast was tradition, and you didn't fuck with tradition, and he'd managed to pull through Monday Morning Breakfasts in worse conditions than these before...
...though not worse by much!
And no, he was not going to be making any silly kid-shaped or kid-sized pancakes or bringing out the sugar cereals with the cartoon characters on the box or any sort of nonsense like that. Kids were just little people but more terrible, and so he was going to treat them like he would anyone else, because making consession fer kids like that didn't do 'em any favors and just made them soft.
Kind of like sitting.
Honestly, though, Wayne was just sort of hoping it was all over now that it was Monday and things would be back to normal again, starting with nice, normal, non-kid-influenced breakfast.
[[ and open as always, even if I'll be sloooooow until later! ]]

"So loud," Shuri muttered. "Why are you so. loud?"

But their arrival did answer one question he himself had that morning.
And since he figgured on a 50/50 chance, he had the biggest mug he could find on hand and was filling it up with coffee at pretty much the first word so it was ready to be handed over to Shuri as he nodded to her. "Shuri."
And a nod down to Sissy. "Sissy."
And then to get some plates. "How are ya now?"

He finished that off with a quirk of an expectant brow at Sissy as he handed her a plate of food.

"And if that doesn't do it," he declared, reaching for his own might before turning back to the food, "just take 'er outside, run her around fer a bit until she gets tired. Just like with a pup."
Only, you know, less cute.
