Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [09/21].
Probably not surprising anyone fer this week, considering the weekend, Wayne came into the common room that morning fer Monday Morning Breakfast to find the fridge was particularly well-stocked with sauerkraut and bratwurst, and, not one to let things like that just go to waste, added a frittata and some hash to the usual offerings and expected pancakes.
And he weren't going to even say nothing about it, either, because, as far as weird things to happen on a Monday morning, that barely even registered as one, so it seemed a bit...silly to go and make a fuss.

"No?" he finally concluded, after giving it that deep, sugar-fueled thought process. "I didn't even use chocolate milk, just the regular stuff."
He did sort of regret not using the chocolate milk, though.

"First thing in the morning!!!!!!!!!" she protested. "Your poor teeth!!!!!!!"

"And are you going to brush your teeth after breakfast???????????"

Troy scoffed a laugh, with the clear indication of what a ridiculous notion it would be that he wouldn't. "Tsh," he said, "uh, yeah, obviously. Why wouldn't I?"
Besides, you know, the whole No Parents To Make Him aspect, but, apparently, there were Classmates to Make Him.
And that's when it clicked in his brain.
"Oh, wait! You're the girl who left Econ early because of all the fire!"
He didn't feel too bad about not recognizing her earlier, though, since he'd been a little distracted during that class, you know, because of all the fire and the Eleanor of it all.

Or what, Nina? Or what?

But now that he recognized her, he was eying her a little curiously, and, after a little bit of debate as to whether or not it was rude to ask this sort of thing and realizing that he was probably going to blurt it out eventually anyway, so he might as well get it over with, asked, "Were you really on fire, though?"

So much for a simple I don't really want to talk about it...

"Good," she said loftily, after eyeing him a moment. "And, like, for future reference, there's a lot of things people don't want to talk about around here!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Ohhhkaaaaaay," he ventured slowly, "but, also, like, maybe there's also people that really might not know what those things are, because everyone here seems really different and it's sometimes maybe super hard to navigate??"
Like, he was sure just about every other person here probably could read minds, but he was definitely not one of them.
No matter how hard he tried.
