Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [09/21].

Probably not surprising anyone fer this week, considering the weekend, Wayne came into the common room that morning fer Monday Morning Breakfast to find the fridge was particularly well-stocked with sauerkraut and bratwurst, and, not one to let things like that just go to waste, added a frittata and some hash to the usual offerings and expected pancakes.

And he weren't going to even say nothing about it, either, because, as far as weird things to happen on a Monday morning, that barely even registered as one, so it seemed a bit...silly to go and make a fuss.

Wow. Okay. That was loud.

"Uhhh. Sorry?" he responded as he continued to wash the pan in front of him. "Dibs on what? I haven't eaten anything yet."

And she could get louder!

Not that she was right now. But she could.

"On the dishes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she protested. "Like, oh my gosh, you can't just steal the dishes!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I'm not stealing anything!" Miles quickly protested. "I'm just washing them!"

"But that's my job!!!!!!!!!!" she insisted. "Like, I already called dibs on them!!!!!!!!! You stop that right now!!!!!!!!!"

"Well, I didn't think it was anyone's job," Miles replied in a good-natured manner as he continued to scrub that pan. "No one complained when I was here the other week and did them. I'm just trying to help out Wayne since he's always fixing breakfast for us. How about I just wash the pans and you handle the rest?"

"I guuuuuesss," Nina conceded, a touch sulkily. "I mean, like, it was my job, but I was away all summer so I suppose things changing only makes sense............"

She was still going to try and call dibs on this for the rest of the semester though.

"Well, change is good," Miles said, though he wasn't any good about dealing with change really. "I mean really, we should all try and help out Wayne, shouldn't we?"

Shouldn't we really, Nina? Shouldn't we?

"Well, like, sometimes it's funnier to not and watch him grumble," Nina shared, because she was like that.

"Well. I'd rather not have the guy making food for us to get grumpy," Miles said giving a look towards Wayne.

Not that Wayne would do anything but there were stories about waiters doing stuff to food that Miles would never want done.

"He's always grumpy," Nina shared. "But, like, he's also always great????????"

For all the crap she gave him, Nina was honestly really fond of Wayne.

"It's fine, it's fine!!!!!!!! He's also really good if you ever need back up in a fight!!!!!!!!"

"He seems okay to me," Miles noted. "And, well, I've never been in a fight so I'll take your word for it."

Nina blinked.

"Never??????????" she marveled.

"Nope. Not once," Miles admitted. "My dad's a cop so I kind of have to toe the line when it comes to stuff like that."

Tagging signs and walls with stickers and throwing up some art on walls is a completely different thing.
