Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [09/28].
It was hard saying goodbye to old Gus yesterday (well, and Katy-Kat, too, but that was diff'rent!), and Wayne had almost considered maybe keeping him around, but the farm was easily the best place for the bo, but it had still been nice to have him around for the weekend and get to introduce him to a few people, too.
But now it was back to business as usual, and breakfast as usual, or at least breakfast as usual as well as it could be when all he seemed to have were tiny knives and tiny pans and tiny plates...
So breakfast might be a while today unless you were lookin' fer some...lighter fare, which was why there was also a box of doughnuts on the table fer everyone to hold them over in the meantime.
[[ and open breakfast is open and tiny! ]]

"...the island," he confirmed, considering what little little offerings he had prepared so far, his tone gone a bit doubtful.
"Fix you up a plate?"

Because, um. Well.
"Did you have a good weekend? I saw you with your dog--I'm so happy he came to see you!"

But at least it didn't take Wayne long to put together a plate for Elli, offering it out to her balanced on his palm, which looked...ridiculous, but it was what it was! And there was plenty of tiny food stacked on that tiny plate, too, he made the most of what little real estate he had!
"Sorry we didn't get a chance to introduce you to him," Wayne said, "or to my sister Katy, while she was here, but you looked like you had yer own guests to keep entertained, too."

"Thank you," she said, smiling. "And yes, I feel like I saw more of the island in a weekend than I have in months, while showing them around."

"They liked it," she said, taking a seat. "But I don't think they believed me about a lot of the... quirks... of the island."
Like tiny breakfast.

Miles.
But also himself, he'd have to admit, when he first got around, and there were still things that made him a little skeptical, but he definitely understood he'd come a pretty long way since he was a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed newbie.

His eyes narrowed.
"Unfortunateleh...."
Look, just because he accepted things more readily now didn't mean he had to like them!

She was going to be so thrilled when Miles went out the window, Wayne. So thrilled.
"Some of it's not so bad though..."

"I didn't mind the snow globe weather effect," she ventured, feeling that was safe enough to say.
