Third Floor Common Room; Late Sunday Morning [11/29].
Troy was back at it again, seeing just how much of those Thanksgiving leftovers in the fridge he could fit between two pieces of bread (withoutmaking a mess of himself, Nina). Which was a lot, thank you very much, and a good thing, too. He was just doing his part to help make sure nothing went to waste!
And then getting comfy on the couch with some cartoon, because Sundays like this were never going to lose their novelty for Troy.
[[ some work-related SP likely, but open common room is totes open! ]]

"Oh, hello there."

He, meanwhile, had definitely found something better to look at that just cartoons.
"Alexis," he greeted, after a moment to make sure it was all smooth and cool (and that he'd swallowed all the food in his mouth). Lifted his chin maginally. "S'up?"

Thus, his hand, slowly reaching for the remote, and his brain resolving to pretend he'd been holding it this whole time.
"Just...trying to find...a game, or something, on TV." A few demonstrative flips of the channel, then a shrug, a shake of his head. "S'nothing good, though."

Probably not since this wasn't her timeline!

Not all of it succeeded, of course, but he was pretty sure that's what it was all going for.
But eventually, other thoughts managed to muscle their way through, and that speculative look turned to the TV, as he was now flipping through channels again, trying to find it.
It's not like he was planning on paying attention to the TV now or anything anyway.
"You mean, like, with all the celebrities and stuff?"

It was very important, of course.

And he was pretty sure he found it on the TV now, too, or at least something close enough. It just kept showing various different shots of a celebrity at various events with a lot of words and SCANDAL!!! flashing on the screen at quick intervals. So he tossed the remote aside again in victory so he could assure his Thanksgiving sandwich that it hadn't been completely forgotten yet.

"Which is probably a lot," he offered with newfound conviction. "They'd have to do a whole half hour special on it, or something. At least."
Assuming she was even being for real about it, but honestly? He could believe it. And more than willing to suspend his disbelief it she actually wasn't.

Someday, Alexis. Someday.

Granted, he wasn't exactly picky about what he would watch, but that was pretty much a gien without that.

For the moment, anyway, Alexis was capricious like that.

"Glad I could help," he said, a little too pleased to be bestowed with such a prestigious, if fleeting, position.
"So what've you done lately that's TV show worthy?"

"Yeah, that's them," she said, with an eyeroll that said she should have been annoyed by the attention but a face that said she actually loved it. "All it takes is someone to call them and let them know where you are and they just swarm."
It was usually her calling.
