Third Floor Common Room, Sunday Afternoon
Between the caffeine (thanks, Five!), Looking for Catra, and having a whole new island to explore, it was entirely possible that Adora hadn't actually slept since yesterday morning.
She had, however reached the point where she couldn't ignore the growling in her stomach any longer, and so, much grubbier and covered in bits of plant, she'd ended up back at the one place she was reasonably sure had something resembling rations. Currently she'd clambered up on a bench and was going through any cupboards she could reach.
[Open as common rooms are. SP due to work and timezones.]

"What're you doing?" Jules

"Looking for rations," Adora answered, dangling from a creaking shelf one-handed. She'd probably share them if she found any, even if they were the grey ones.

Pre-Fandom, probably the only kind of preserved food she'd ever experienced had been, like. Pickles.

She caught sight of a brightly coloured box tucked into the back of the cupboard and hauled herself higher to grab it.

"Chocolate's a sweet! People put it in desserts," she shared helpfully. "And fish is- fish is a animal from the ocean, and we can bake it or fry it or smoke it to eat it!"

Speaking of weird, she'd peeled open one of the
pop tartsrations she'd found and was staring at the garishly coloured thing.no subject
"That's weird," she added, also staring at the Pop Tart.
Fennbirn really didn't have much in the way of processed foods, no.

"Yeah, it is," Adora agreed, then immediately broke it in two and shoved one half in her mouth.
Having more impulse control than Catra didn't really mean all that much. Especially when Shadow Weaver or the guards were nowhere to be found.

"Does it 'least taste any good?" she wondered.

Then she tried to shove the other half in as well.
At least try chewing first, Adora.
no subject
"Is there more?" she wanted to try one!

“Thanks!” she chirped, tearing into one of the packages with only minor difficulties.
“S’good!” she mumbled around a mouthful of... sure, let’s call it pastry.
no subject
"Yeah!" This was the best ration bar Adora had ever eaten, possibly even better than the grey ones.

"Now we just need some juice," Jules told Adora
not Adoria, thanks, phone autocorrect.no subject
"What's in there?" she asked. Maybe she should have explored all the cupboards! It could have been a tiny adventure!
no subject
"Not much." There was actually a lot of junk food in there, Adora just didn't recognise it.

She really didn't need another box of sugary cereal but it had tasted so good and been so many pretty colors! They didn't have anything like that at home.
"Anything to eat?"

"Thank you!" She was just going to tear into that packaging now. Eventually. Once she figured out how.
