With it being a break week between sessions, Astrid was in no rush to get upstairs to the designated MMB common room to get to work on all the usual pancakes and eggs and everything for breakfast, and part of her almost had a feeling that this morning was going to be one of those weird ones, and, sure enough, she found out that there was no usual ingredients for making breakfast that morning, there were only...

...these.

At first, Astrid wasn't even sure what those were, they just looked like an awful lot of weird egg...things? But there were a lot of them, as if the common room itself decided to make breakfast, but had no idea how to actually do it, put these together, and awaited for the kids to come in and enjoy them. Whatever they were. Astrid decided to be bold and tried one of them, making the sausage inside a really big surprise, but not a too terribly unpleasant one? They honestly weren't that bad, for how weird they were, or for the fact that they just randomly showed up.

So she just got some coffee started, put on a kettle because most people these mornings seemed to be drinking tea, and then wondered if she should bother trying to find something for pancakes or just take the hint from the common room and leave it at weird sausage-hashbrown-egg-bites for everyone.
