Second floor common room- Thursday afternoon

Alexis, with her manicure and miniskirt because pants just offended her now, was decorating the common room for Christmas. There was garland strung around the room, and the tree was up, though she was taking her time trimming it. Christmas would be here in less than a month! Time to work on setting up and getting ready for holiday party season!

And maybe if she was really lucky she could re-lose her virginity soon.

Tahani swanned into the common room after blowing off class because class was held in the morning and no.

"Hello, there, you!" she said, waving her adorable plaid nails around. "How are you?"

No recollection of Alexis' name. None.

"We're having a party?!" Tahani said. "A...holiday party? Already?"

"Well yeah. There's only twenty-three days until Christmas," Alexis pointed out.

"It's not, though," Tahani countered.

"It's September," Tahani said.

"No, it's December. See, Christmas," Alexis reasoned.

"No, I am going to get a pumpkin spice latte because it's September."

"If it's September, why do I have Christmas nails?" Alexis asked, holding up one Christmas nailed hand.

"Because you're very confused?" Tahani offered sweetly.

"Look, if you don't know what month it is, I can't help you," Alexis said.

"I know what month it is!" Tahani yelped.

Alexis was unfortunately going to have to stick with this to save face later.

Tahani threw her head back and shrieked.

"What's all this?" Belle asked. She hadn't been here for Christmas. She had no idea.

"And why don't you pay someone to do that for you?" That was what you did when you had money, Alexis. Didn't you know? Belle had had money for 1 whole day. She was an expert now, obviously.

"It's fun getting in the Christmas spirit though, don't you think?"

Alexis didn't even care about Christmas that much normally.

"I wouldn't know," Belle said. "I've never been in the Christmas spirit."

There was no Christmas in fairytale land!

"Well that sucks," Alexis told her. "What do you do for holiday parties?"

"Feasts," Belle said simply. "And gifts!"

"But no Christmas? When do you get to be a slutty elf?"

Belle was going to be very surprised if she ever saw the Halloween costumes at Dite's.

"What do elves have to do with decorating for holidays? Hot or slutty or otherwise?"

"Elves help Santa. So umm. I guess maybe they also dress sexy and like, help Santa."

"I don't know who Santa is," Belle said. "Why do the elves help him? Are they servants of some kind?"

What kind of servants had to dress up sexily, Alexis? What went on in your world?

"Santa delivers presents to all the kids of the world. So the elves help make the presents. While dressed like escorts, possibly."

Alexis was even ruining it for herself at this point.

"I'm going to the library after this," Belle decided. "Or a bookstore." To buy some books. Maybe all the books. "To look into this."

Nobody let her look at anymore books in Dite's, please.
