Second Floor Common Room- Friday Morning

Kurt had been enjoying a fairly quiet week. Classes were over for now, though he was looking forward to the next term already. He had managed to miss the insanity of the past weekend, which he was still somewhat surprised by. Sliding under the radar and going unnoticed was not something Kurt was used to... at all. But from some of the stories he had heard, he was glad he missed out on the insanity- for the most part.. the coffee shop thing had been interesting but relatively harmless.

But with the week winding to a close, and a new set of classes about to start, Kurt had taken the time to make some calls back home to touch base and check in with The Professor and a few of the others back home. It was good to talk to them, and though he felt a tiny bit homesick, the excitement over the new classes and the promise of more adventures with his friends on the island was enough to chase most of that away.

And so, Kurt settled in on the couch in the common room, a bowl of popcorn beside him, remote in hand as he started flipping through the channels to find something worth watching.

Eat? That meant food right? Food was definitely good. Food was very good.

Kurt watched the nice human sit down. Whatever he was doing it look interesting. So a moment or two later, Kurt was back on Guillermo's shoulder, watching intently. Almost as if he actually understood what what Guillermo was doing.

“Well according to google you guys like fruit and vegetables, pollen, nectar and insects,” Guillermo read the information and then looked at Kurt!sugar glider who was on his shoulder, “what do you think, any of those sound appealing? I think we have some fruit left over and I can do a shop over the weekend?" it sounded like more of a question than he intended and he wasn't actually expecting a response back but maybe an idea of how to go about this until he could go to the animal shelter and get advice might be helpful.

Fruit was nice. You were quickly becoming his absolutely favorite person Guillermo. And Kurt's decision to try and squirm into that cozy looking pocket on your jacket at that exact moment was a pretty clear indication too. That was just what you wanted right? A sugar glider following you around everywhere?

"Oh hey you like the sound of fruit?" Guillermo grinned and tentatively reached over to try and give Kurt a reassuring pat, "I should probably let your friends back home know what's happening as well ... hopefully they don't think I'm crazy or anything like that when I try to tell them what's going on," Guillermo stood up and went over to where there were some apples, "hey does this good to you?"

Oh the pats and pets felt very nice. And if a sugar glider could give an annoyed look, you were getting a little one once the pets stopped, Guillermo. But then.... apples were very yummy. So you were forgiven. For now.
