Second Floor Common Room- Saturday Morning

Kurt was in a baking mood.... the cookies the other day had really got him missing the times he would make Christmas cookies back home. That meant Kut was rummaging around the cabinets in the common room that morning, trying to take stock of what was there on hand if he wanted to make those cookies after all. It was looking pretty good and there were only a few things he might have to get depending on what he decided to go with. So, if anyone was walking around the floor they might have heard some humming and singing coming from the kitchen area.

"Oh, that should be lovely. I hope you have good visits, Kurt. The Academy is your old school?"

"Aye, that's where The Professor and the rest of the X-Men have a school for us mutants. It's where we learn to use our powers and fight and everything else we need to know if we want to join the X-Men someday!"

"Have you been back there since you came here?" Belle asked. "Or will this be your first visit?"

"First time back! So it will be great to see everyone. I've kept up with some of them while I've been here but it's not the same." For one it was easier to avoid Logan's teasing and Scott's lectures, but Kurt did miss them all the same.

"Oh, that's wonderful then!" Belle offered a bright smile. "I'm glad you get to go home and visit them. I'm sure you've all missed each other."

"Thanks, I'm really excited." He was also a bit homesick too, but he wasn't going to admit it. He wasn't a little kid anymore after all!
