Second Floor Common Room- Saturday Morning

Kurt was in a baking mood.... the cookies the other day had really got him missing the times he would make Christmas cookies back home. That meant Kut was rummaging around the cabinets in the common room that morning, trying to take stock of what was there on hand if he wanted to make those cookies after all. It was looking pretty good and there were only a few things he might have to get depending on what he decided to go with. So, if anyone was walking around the floor they might have heard some humming and singing coming from the kitchen area.

TJ shrugged. "I never knew him; he died when I was a baby. Everyone always talks about him, though."

Kurt nodded, expression dropping slightly. The different timeline things still was a lot to get used to with who was and wasn't around and all. "You said Logan was the one running things back home for you, right?"

"Yeah, he's in charge of the school, and dad runs the X-men and field work." She shrugged. "Works for them."

"I still find it hard to imagine the Logan I know being in charge of the school. He's such a jokester and is always poking fun," Kurt said with a small laugh.

"Really?" TJ shook her head. "Not a description I'd go with, though Dad's good at making him loosen up. Christmas should be fun. Mom always tries to be there, too, but it all depends on if some asshole's making problems for the Avengers."
