Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning
Henry didn't listen to the radio. Nor did he tend to leave the dorms on weekends for much more than to walk Mutt and to feed Pebbles and perhaps let her go for a stroll. Much more often, he'd find himself here, in the common room, tearing through several bowls of cereal (he liked the colorful ones) and having long one-sided conversations with Mutt.
So he hadn't the faintest about what all the dreams had been about. Or that odd rock he'd found in the woods.

It would be a while before there'd be any hugging or conversation or anything everyone else on island seemed to be doing. Henry had gone blank, utterly. Couldn't find a thought in his head.
Just... Couldn't.
Bianca frowned. She sank down next to him on the oddly soft bench. "Hal?" she tried, softer. "Hal? Are you hearing me?"
"I," Henry said. He came back into motion jerkily, and when he did, it was to strike the sign of the cross.
"That's got nothin' to do with this, I don't think," Bianca said, gently. "I'm not a demon, Henry, it's just me, all right?"
Henry wished he could do more than gawp, but his body wasn't letting him.
