The Sidewalk In Front of the Dorms, Wednesday Morning

Francine had been afraid she wouldn't pull off looking surprised when she stood on the sidewalk outside the dorms and beheld the blue chalk river ) filled with fish of varying sizes, shapes, and meltiness, but when she stepped over the large, realistic-looking bass and it started belting out "Don't Worry, Be Happy!" at her, it really didn't take much acting chops to do a convincing EEK!

[OOC: Open to all! With or without Francine, if you'd care to use it purely for gawking purposes.]

Cheerleading Practice, Gym [Wednesday, After Classes]

Honestly, the last place Angela wanted to be right now, feeling as she was, was overseeing a cheerleading practice. Even so, she was there early so she could get things set up and ready.

The sign in sheet was laid out, music was on, and there were mats on the floor ready for practice.

Angela was lying on her stomach, head resting on one arm, in the corner of one of said mats, thinking about stretching and trying to ignore her headache. Stupid winter illnesses.

Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Nine o'clock found Tony in his usual Wednesday night spot on the couch, along with half a bomb bottle of Coke and a bag of microwave popcorn he'd snagged from the third floor.

There hadn't been a new episode last week because of the American elections. This week, if Tony remembered right, should be the one with the immortal French monk.

The Range - Girls With Guns [Wednesday afternoon]

Triela was not her usual grinning self today as she arrived nearly ten minutes late for gun club. She glanced around, hoping that no one had showed up and left.

She had a killer headache, so she sat down immediately and proceeded to rub lightly at her temples.

[ooc: Zomg! Apologies for the late. Thank goodness for wifi on the bus, huh?]

Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night

It wasn't like Jess hadn't known that Anakin hated him. But he hadn't been aware of exactly how much he was hated until he'd spent a full day with Jar Jar Binks. They were only around Buffy for a few minutes before she and Jess both agreed that Jar Jar couldn't stay in their room, so they'd mostly been in town instead, with Jess spending most of his time trying to make sure Jar Jar bumped into as few things as possible. When evening rolled around, he decided they had no other option but to camp out in the common room again, and if anyone had a problem with that, Jess figured he could just make the person talk to Jar Jar for a few minutes, and they'd understand. Or, they'd at least flee for the sake of their sanity.

Out of desperation, Jess had turned on the television, and by some miracle, discovered that Jar Jar was absolutely fascinated by the Home Shopping Network's gem collection. Sure, it wasn't keeping him totally quiet, but he was occupied enough that Jess could think about making food without wondering what he could slip sleeping pills into.
