FREE Sugar Cookies, ZOMG!
George wanders into the Common Room with a large box of large sugar cookies. On the tops, written in pink icing, are the words "Fute-a Geurge." According to Marty Blank, when translated from Muppet Swedish, the words mean "Vote for George."
Specifically, Vote for George for Homecoming Queen.
George drops the cookies on a table directly below her own campaign poster, shouting "Cookies!" over her shoulder. She then leans back against the table and awaits the flood of hungry fellow students.
Well, it seems like I've got a date now. Maybe. If it isn't just some big fat joke, like this campaign. We'll see. She thinks with a sigh.

"Coffee?" she offers George. "Compliments of the 'Hottest Ticket in Town' - specifically the 'Rory Gilmore for Student Relations' campaign."

Thanks!
*then she looks at it, puzzles over the writing, and looks at George again*
These aren't you know, weird or anything, right?

Well, I ate in the cafeteria this morning, so I guess I'm already in for it if something goes wrong. *snags another as she leaves*
Thanks!

"Campaigning, George?" John takes a bit and mumbles his appreciation for the taste. "Thought you didn't even want to be nominated."

::resumes her previous state of bliss::
So, you've actually embraced your candidacy? ::swipes a cookie:: That's nice. ::grins, and takes a bite::

Well, I didn't plan on voting for myself, 'cause that'd be kinda selfish. You got my vote, if it means anything to ya. ::nibbles on the cookie::
I don't think we've really met... but I guess we already know each other's names, but... aw heck.
Hi, I'm Cally ::offers her hand, because she can actually use them again, yay!::

"So does this mean you're, like, okay with Marty for nominating you now? He can sometimes push people. Kind of a lot."

She takes a cookie and takes a healthy bite. "Besides," she says around a mouthful of pure sugar. "These are some damn good cookies. I can't stay mad at anyone who buys me junk food of this caliber."

You don't want to be king, anyway. It would require dancing and spotlights, and big, cheesy, foil crowns.

"Hey George! How the campaigning going?"
no subject
"Fine, I guess. No one seems to be able to pass up the cookies. I suppose I should thank you for that, but I won't. I'm not feeling particularly charitable just now."
