Rory wanders into the common room, holding a cup of coffee and a stack of flyers. She also has a bag of "Vote Rory!" buttons and "RG for SR" ribbons thrown over her shoulder.

She flops down on the couch after pinning up a few flyers, and starts absently flipping through the channels.

"Exactly. My mom had me when she was sixteen, and as a result - or it could be completely unrelated - I have a total fear of babies."

[ooc: I really want to get her one, now. I'm tempted to have someone give her a puppy for her birthday, and then ask Angelus to bite it.]

Sixteen? Wow. I'm sixteen. I don' know what I'd do with a baby.

Which is probably why m'parents drilled into all of us to use multiple forms of birth control...

"Yeah, I was the result of using 'hope' as a birth crontrol and my mom moved out of my grandparents' house because they didn't support the whole wedlock thing, and all that. And as a result, my mom's incredibly paranoid about my birth control, as well."

We have kinda the same thing with drugs: my mum ran away an' got hooked. Met my da on the day she got out of rehab, actually. I don't know if you knew about that, I doubt your people followed the whole scene.

Rory laughs. "I actually think I've heard of your parents. I have a...friend who's very, very into punk, and he's mentioned them a few times."

Oh, swerval! I'm guessin' your friend's not here, then?

"He was, but I think he transferred or something. Wouldn't be the first time he just left without telling anyone," she adds, snorting. She glances at her watch. "Ugh, I have to be up really early for pre-election stuff, so I'll talk to you later, okay?"
