Tuesday morning, throughout the dorms

A regal looking cat pads into the dorms from the main school and starts inspectigating* the halls and common rooms.

*Inspectigate: The process by which cats both inspect their surrounding and and investigate items of interest

"You're welcome," Jiji grins.

She reaches out and pats him with a paw, "do you think I make a good cat then? I don't want to fail the class."

Jiji surveys her carefully, something he's pretty much wanted to do since spying her, even if she is a human-in-cat-form rather than a full feline.

"I'd say you do make quite a fine cat," he purrs. "A good balance of playful and aloof, and an appreciation for a nice spot of warm sunshine. Yes, I'd so you make a good cat, indeed."

Cat!Paige purrs and licks Jiji on the top of his head, "thank you."

Jiji's eyes go wide and his hair stands on end. "Yowza!" he trills when he can finally speak.

Cat!Paige suddenly realises maybe her and Hank were getting a little too friendly in their cat forms since at the time it seemed appropriate, she moves away slightly, "erm sorry we thought that was what we were meant to do, as cats I mean." She starts to swish her tail, "I have a human boyfriend."

"That's alright," Jiji says glibly, "you can have a cat boyfriend, as well. I'm not the jealous type." He gives her an audacious wink.

Becoming more serious, he says, "It's fine to be friendly, but generally, I find that the line is somewhere around 'curious sniffing.' It's like the difference between..." Jiji ponders for a moment. "Between shaking hands with a new aquaintance and giving them a big kiss. Maybe a chin-nuzzle between good friends; that would be like a hug, I'd say."

Cat!Paige blushes, luckily she's covered in fur so no one can tell. She thinks a moment then nuzzles his chin with a slight purr

Jiji gives her a light nuzzle back. Lines notwithstanding, he's still a gentlemanly cat.

Cat!Paige smiles, "I should go back to class now. I'll look for you in magic class."

"Oh, I'll surely be there," Jiji assures her. "That's one class Kiki doesn't let me skip."
