3rd Floor Common Room

Draco is sprawled out on a couch. The TV is on and he's watching Cape Fear (the one with De Niro). He looks confused. Like he's not sure if this was fiction or not. If it was non-fiction he'd have to warn the Dark Lord about this Max guy.

When the movie goes on commercial break he thinks about maybe going upstairs to talk to Lily. But he didn't get up. He wanted to be with her, but he still felt guilty about Thursday. He wasn't going to tell her obviously. But when he was around her he had the bad habit of telling the truth.

The movie came back on and with a wave of his wand a bowl of popcorn appeared before him.

((He'll be there for most of the afternoon. Cape Fear really is on. I love this movie. Argh. Mun. cannot. open. her. fruit. rollup!))

Being ticklish, Lily jumps when he squeezes her knee. She puts her hand on top of his. "It's all fake," she reassures softly. "Even that."

"Y-yeah. Just wasn't expecting it." he says He takes her hand and intertwines his fingers with hers.
"Your hands are soft."

((You kidding me? Piano wire is going to be Death Eater standard issue now.))

Lily squeezes his hand in response, inching closer so her leg is flush with his.

Draco leans over to kiss the spot on Lily's neck where her jawline meets the ear.

"Mmmmm," she mumbles incoherently, relaxing into his touch.

Draco leaned into Lily and turned her face towards him. He goes to kiss her softly on the lips.

Lily kisses him for a few moments before remembering their surroundings.

"We're in the common room - people could go by at any time!" she says, embarrassed already even though nobody was currently around.

"You're right. Don't want to be giving anybody a free show." he says with a mischevious smile.

"You wanna go somewhere else?" he asked.

Lily laughs, her cheeks still burning. "Now? Before the movie's even over?"

"Why not? I'm sure good triumphs over evil and all that. You know how everyone loves a happy ending." he says "Besides, I think you are much more interesting."

"Mmm... happy endings - quite unrealistic most of the time."

"You do, do you?" she says, raising an eyebrow. "Where did you have in mind?"

"Well, we are on my floor. And my room is just down the hall. And I think the roomie is out and about today." he says in a completely innocent tone.
