JA Meet & Greet

Dr. Carter's classroom is tastefully decorated with white tablecloths and rose centerpieces. Food and drink are available for those who want it, the items ranging from some food from Deb's (brownies and lemon bars, bleu cheese pear puffs and shrimp spread on triscuits) to more vampire/demon friendly food from NPCed places that thoughtfully deliver.

A large sign outside of the door says "JA Meet & Greet: All are welcome"

Angelus is in the room dressed in a black suit, black shirt, no tie. His good mood, if anything, has only gotten more persistant.

"Meh. Try being a messaiah. Now THAT'll take a quart. Or two. Or, really, complete fluid flush. I can see your point. Things just keep getting more and more interesting around here."

"Messiah? That sucks. There's this guy in my future who is a kind of messiah. He's definitely needing a transfusion. Time-traveling DNA/matriarch begins to sound not so bad. Yeah. Pretty funny, actually. He was acting all love-dovey on Anakin. Poor guy."

"OOooookay? Does Marty have a girlfriend? Or boyfriend? How did the beloved of Our Favorite Security Officer take that?"

Beka snickered. "Girlfriend. Pretty girl with very red hair. Sensitive-poetic sort. She wasn't there at the time, which is probably good. Either she'd have been really upset - omg sad. Or he'd have been kissing on her - way too much cute."

"Yeah, definitely be a bad thing if she'd been there. How long ago did this happen?"

"Oh. I don't know exactly. Took a while to clean things up, then I had to cheer Anakin up, then he left and one of the others came over to give me a break. They took him to the clinic right after. Maybe two hours?"

"Hmm. He's probably left already. I'll check in with the clinic later, then."

Beka arched an eyebrow at that. "You've got some interest in Marty?"

"Angel had expressed some concern for the gent, wondering how he was handling his newly elected office."

Angelus had expressed a wonder about someone she had reason to think he watched like a hawk? What was the game there? Beka filed the question away to think on for later. "He seems to be doing all right. The Safe Walk program is a good idea, even if he was a bit slow on the poisonous gas at Spike's. But that was sort of outside his jurisdiction."

Then she smiled, clearly amused. "Does Angelus know you call him Angel? He's got a definite dislike for an acquaintance of his who goes by that name."

"Ah. My bad. Seems like I'm dropping back into bad habits of nicknames and abbreviations. And I guess I've been out of the loop, but what happened with this gas? At the bar in town, you say?"
