Fourth Floor Common Room [Wednesday afternoon]

Anakin came traipsing (yes, traipsing) from his room wearing a mini skirt and a leather bustier.

He walked into the fourth floor common room and announced to all and sundry, "In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer." He tossed back his imaginary hair. "I am that Chosen One!"

He then sat down in front of the television and devoted himself to his other sacred quest: mocking the people on Jeopardy.

If someone is looking closely, they might notice a gremlin bite near his ankle.

John agrees with a nod of his head. "Okay, so no food poisoning," John says under his breath. "Annie, do you know who Obi Wan is?" Might as well see if this is amnesia.

"Obi-Wan?" Anakin furrowed his brow. "Not ringing a bell, no. Stupid name, isn't it?"

Uh oh. "Sure it is, Annie. Whatever you say." After a moment, he says, "Maybe you should skip patrol tonight. I hear the Gameshow network is showing old episodes of Press Your Luck!"

He wants to give Zero plenty of time to get the gremlin and to let the venom run its course in Anakin.

"I dunno," Anakin said slowly, looking over at the other three Slayers. "I'm pretty sure my responsibility is supposed to overrule my love of the Whammy."

"But there's Hollywood Squares too," John says, racking his brain for old gameshows. "Jim J. Bullock and The Smothers Brothers. C'mon, we gotta see who the center square is this week. Maybe it's Joan Rivers after her twelfth face lift!"

Anakin sighed sadly and stood up. "As much as I love the comedic stylings of the Smothers Brothers, sacred duty calls. Faith and I are going to patrol together."
