Fourth Floor Common Room [Wednesday afternoon]

Anakin came traipsing (yes, traipsing) from his room wearing a mini skirt and a leather bustier.

He walked into the fourth floor common room and announced to all and sundry, "In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer." He tossed back his imaginary hair. "I am that Chosen One!"

He then sat down in front of the television and devoted himself to his other sacred quest: mocking the people on Jeopardy.

If someone is looking closely, they might notice a gremlin bite near his ankle.

Faith shook her head, almost in a daze. "There's no such thing as a too-low cut top. I think I need to leave," she said, making a face. "Too much... slayer around here."

Anakin looked sad. "You won't patrol with me, then?" He lowered his voice to a whisper. 'I don't think Buffy thinks I'm very good at it. She keeps giving me these...looks."

Faith shook her head. "Patrol with you? Sure. Patrol with Buffy? That'd lead to some slaying of the 'get me put in jail again' variety. Not that I object, but we've already got one of our friends as a murder suspect."

Anankin nodded, then stood up. "Be right back."

After a quick conversation with Buffy, he came back.

"Okay. We can patrol together tonight, and she and I'll go out tomorrow." He smiled hopefully. "Sound good?"

Faith rubbed her forehead. Her brain hurt.

"Sure, Annie. We can go on a patrol," she said. "I haven't gone in a while, so it should be fun."

Anakin clapped his hands together and squealed. "This is going to be so. much. fun. Ohmigod."

He held up an absolutely empty hand. "I've already got my stake with me, but do you need to stop for supplies?"

Faith made a face halfway between laughter and throwing up. "Nice stake. I'm set, actually You ready to go?"
