The Dorm Roof, Wednesday Afternoon
Cally, after having enlisted the help of some gremlins through the power of sugar cookies, stands triumphant on the roof of the dorm building. She is wearing Anders' C-Bucs Jacket over her orange jumpsuit, along with the long multi-colored scarf the Doctor has leant her. It looks a little ridiculous, but the extra layers are helping keep her warm.
She begins unpacking the crates that she got the gremlins to haul up. Cally has a holiday weekend project. Her Dad has sent the last of the Viper parts, so she's going to put it back together.
...on the roof. Without administration approval. Let's see how this goes, eh?
[[ooc: Totally open to interaction. I'm sure the people who live in the attics will notice the noise.]]

"I'm just indulging myself in a little personal project, and this seemed like a good time and a place to do it, that's all." She pulls out part of the instrument panel and sets it next to her on the ground. "You live in the building? I don't think I've seen you around, even. What floor are you on?"

He follows her over just a few steps and gestures toward the crates, "May I help?"

She grins, eagerly. "This is gonna be so much fun."

"Is this a..." he tilts his head as he continues to scan the documents, and then looks up wide-eyed. "Oh man, this is so cool."

google and scifi.com have failed the mun in finding out the actual technical stats on the craftwill be cut for the sake of it not actually being all that fascinating to the poor readers. But she talks about it, and starts sorting out more of the instrument panel bits."That's the basic idea, at least. The Viper is actually a pretty touchy ship. An inexperience pilot could accidently gyrate themselves into a person smoothie, if they aren't careful."

[Huzzah! A little late, but Why I didn't check the BSG Wiki in the first place is beyond me (http://battlestarwiki.org/index.php?title=Viper_%28RDM%29#Technical_Specifications)]

She sets a few more bits aside, and smiles. "Well, that's all sorted out." She pushes that crate out of the way, and goes to help Grissom with the heavier lifting. "And thank you especially for the help. I had to bribe some of the gremlins with partially moldy 'Vote for Cally' cookies so I could get all the crates up here."

Grissom's not one for idle chit-chat usually, but it is cold and he needs a bit of a distraction, and he's making an effort to actually talk to people lately, so he asks her, "So, Cally, how are your classes going? Do you like it here?"

She looks into one of the crates, and fishes out a stray bolt. "Huh, wonder where that goes."

He stands up and brushes off his pants, getting back to work.
"You know, I've been meaning to ask Professor MacGuyver if I could use the Danger Shop," he says quietly, almost conspiratorially. "I'm going to build a tiki bar in my apartment."

She sighs. "Plus, it's getting kinda cold."

So, grabbing the seperated box of "fiddly bits", Cally heads back down to #201...

They looked at each other, then at the cookies, then at the Viper parts around them. They huddled briefly to quietly confer. A small argument broke out. One gremlin was pitched off the roof.
The rest sat down around the plate of cookies and happily ate them all.
There may have been a discussion about what the parts would become when assembled.
