The Dorm Roof, Friday Afternoon
Cally, with the intrepid and very necessary help of Anders, has hauled up some welding equipment to the dorm roof.
Today the Viper frame is to be re-fabricated. So, with the help of Anders (who is holding the big pieces in place, as that is probably the extent to which his skills run), Cally sets about this arduous work.
[ooc: Feel free to interrupt them.]

"So what's next?"

If the Chief can put one together from spare parts in an episode, we can put one together from the proper pieces much faster. D'uh."Well, after we get that put up, it's engine time. After that, the wings, then putting the wings on, then the cockpit, and finally the plating." She flips down the mask, before flipping it back up to add. "But that's not all for today. Might even have to cut out after the frame, since we're gonna need some block and tackle to haul the engines in place."
She flips down the mask again, and goes about welding the last bit of frame.

Yes, and I wouldn't know about any of that because I got LEFT BEHIND TO DIE ON CAPRICA and I'm NOT BITTER ABOUT IT AT ALL, NO.Anders's eyes may just have glazed over a little bit from all this. "Right. Right. Got it. Block and tackle. Engines."
He just goes back to holding the piece in place and thinking how sexy Cally looks in a jumpsuit and welding mask.

"There, should be good." Cally huffs, blowing air under her bangs. "You wanna test the frame structure and stability? I promise, it's fun."

He takes the mallet from Cally and happily wanders around the Viper frame, banging on it with abandon and quite pleased to be useful. After all, it's hitting things hard to see if they fall apart, and he's good at that sort of thing.

"Yes, because welding it oh so complicated. I coulda taught you how and let you do it, but I kinda needed your help with the lifting and the being taller." she rubs her arms up and down Anders' back. "Okay, getting a little chilly up here, now that I'm not holding a warm welding torch."

He's conveniently ignoring the fact that they already figured that part out.
