2nd Floor Common Room: Friday Night Triad Game

Cally begins pulling chairs together, getting the room set up for a nice friendly game of Triad. Very friendly, given the fact that only three of the people invited have even played games with non-rectangular cards before. She sets the cards down, next to the two full bottles of ambrosia and the large stack of little plastic mock-cubits that Cally pulled out of her stuff in #213.

Everything seems to be ready, other than light snacks, which Anders is off getting. Cally has busied herself now with reheating the leftover rolls, yams, and green bean casserole from yesterday's 'Thanksgivaling' feast that she and Anders made.

[ooc: okay, two OCD threads. Yeah. Come on in, invited folks (and a gatecrasher or two might get to join in the game, too)]

Anders comes bursting into the common room, his nose red from the cold and bags of sodas and snacks in his hands.

"Wow. Gettin' cold out there. I'm not used to it yet." He laughs and heads over to the counter to start laying out bags of chips, plastic cups, and bottles of soda. "Get the ambrosia?"

Bridge bounces (as per usual) into the common room, a plateful of toast in one hand.

"I brought toast!" It's buttery!" he says, with a fingerwiggle accompanying the last word.

Anders hops over to the table and claps his hands together loudly. "Okay! People! We gonna play, or what? Bring your snacks over!"

Cally starts shuffling the cards and starts dealing them out again.

"I think, for the ease of play, maybe we should, like, skip the first round of betting, or something. Any ideas before we look at the cards?"

Cally unlaces a shoe and makes a big show of dropping it behind her chair. "Oh, shucks. I feel so incredibly vulnerable without it.

"Awww, frak." Anders kicks off his other shoe and winces as he realizes there's a huge hole in his sock. "Gonna need more ambrosia at this rate," he grumbles, pouring himself another glass.

Anders slaps his hand down on the table, excited to a ridiculous degree. "Go Team Buttery!Go me! For once!"

He tosses back another half glass of ambrosia. He's very happy now.

Cally smiles, and tosses her sock right at Anders' face.

"There. Go you!" She sticks out her tongue, for emphasis.

"Sweet," John says and points and laughs at Cally, Anders, Bridge, and Callisto. "Lose an article of clothing!"

"Your luck doesn't suck. My luck is the thing that is sucking right now." She downs the rest of her glass of ambrosia and pours a fresh one.

"haHA!" Bridge crows, throwing down his cards, and then getting up to do a little victory twirl.

Cally is not happy with the sudden trend of male victory in this game. She scowls at her cards and stands up to pull off her black sweater... to reveal a tanktop underneath.

"Gettin' a little chilly in here."

John kisses his cards dramatically. "I love you, I'll marry you and Aeryn. Keep me clothed, please."

Anders rolls his eyes and pulls off his sweatshirt, tossing it onto the floor behind him.

He's got another one on underneath. HA.

"Yes! Ha! Victory!" Cally pumps a fist in the air, then eek-faces as she has to pull her bra-strap back up onto her shoulder.

"Full Colors! Another penis-less victory! Take that, guys." Cally laughs and slams back even more ambrosia, basking in the glory of her win.

"Yay for you," John says sarcastically before pulling off his under shirt. This time, he chooses Callisto's pile and chucks his shirt amidst her clothing.

Cally takes a deep breath, grumbles that she has an empty glass, and stands up to unbutton her pants and slide them off, and tosses them at Anders, just for good measure.

"You better be ready to warm me up, later." She smirks.

Cally breathes a sigh of relief as three-on-a-run proves the best hand. "Whew. Pay up, everyone." She points directly at Anders. "You especially, champ." And with that, she breaks down into giggles

Anders hiccups and starts giggling along with Cally. "Y'wanna show, couch -- coach?"

He gets up, stands on his chair, and starts pushing his pants down his legs in a manner that is almost -- almost -- sexy, even in his current inebriated state.

Too bad any sexiness about it is completely dashed when he loses his balance and topples over onto the floor.

If he were completely sober, the idea of cheating would never have occured to him.

However, Bridge? Is definitely not sober. And everyone else is too drunk to notice the subtle hand-wavy-motions. And so Bridge totally wins.

Before the round Callisto was only wearing her underwear. Ten seconds after the round, she is not wearing even that.

Seemingly unconcerned about her public nudity, Callisto sips her drink demurely.

Then realizes what she's doing, and crosses her arms across her chest, eek-facing.

Still lying on the floor and with no clothing left to lose, Anders leers up at Cally.

Well, he wouldn't think of it as leering, since he wouldn't want to look at her that way were he sober.

But he's not. So it's leering.

"Wanna come keep me warm now?"

Anders doesn't think much of the fact that all their clothing is skittering out of the room apparently on its own, not at first.

But it's really getting cold, and none of his clothing is anywhere to be seen.
