"The number one way to defend yourself? Try to avoid a physical fight. But when things get out of hand, that's usually a bit harder to do then say. If the only way to get out of your physical situation then, and only then, use these steps: open palm up-ward at the person's nose, knee to the crotch area if the attacker is male, or knee to the stomach. As a warning, no practicing the palm hit, because that can potentially kill. If you're close enough, slap both palms on the person's ears, it'll shock them long enough for you to try to get away. DO NOT scratch, pull at hair, or try to bite. You'll use up energy that and not get much done."

Belthazor grunted and let Veronica escape, bending over to put his hand on his knee, suddenly glad that she wasn't tall enough to effectively aim at his balls. "Good," he said. "Now what if you can't kick? Your leg is hurt, you're wearing a long tight skirt... what do you do then?"
