In Front of the School Theater, Late Afternoon

The doors are closed, and locked, but Vala's taking no chances. She's brought hot cocoa and the cookies she decorated for Art class. She's sitting on the floor, first in line, camping out for Pageant tickets.

Cameron is on his way back to the dorms after criminology when he notices Vala hanging around the theatre. Frowning, he moves up to where she's sitting. "Whatcha doing?"

"Camping out for tickets!" she proudly informs him. "I saw a news special on people doing it for days before the last Galaxy Battles movie and so I thought I'd try it. I'm first in line!"

"I suppose getting front row seats for this might be interesting," Cameron grins and sits down beside her.

"Hey, Vala." Sam took a seat on the floor next to her. She was holding two cameras. "I have three rolls of film and an extra set of batteries in my pocket. D'you think that's enough?"

"I hope so." She frowns for a moment. "Then again, someone's bound to be videotaping it. You know, in case you miss anything."

"I don't know," she said, "Jaye's usually the one with the video camera at these events, but she's in it. I'm kind of sorry we'll be missing all that good snark."

"Hey," Logan said, sitting down in line. "What time's the show start?"

Vala frowns, "I'm not sure, but I'm definitely going to get a ticket!"

"Yeah, I don't think they're going to actually sell out." He got his flask from his pocket and took a drink. "You sharing?" he asked, nodding to the cookies.

Maia came up with a hot chocolate and a brownie. "Hey, any news on when the ticket booth is going to open up?" she sat down sipping her drink.

"Nope, but I'm first in line!" Vala says smugly.

Maia looked down the line at the gathering students "well I am glad I got here early then. Brownie?" She held a bag that contained brownies.

Barbossa walked up to the line, a video camera in one hand and huge box of chocolate-covered raisins in the other.

He smiled at the assembled crowd, grabbed a comfortable-looking section of floor and began pinging raisins at students who might not be paying a lot of attention.

Gotta keep himself entertained somehow.

A raisin hits Angela as she walks up to the group. "Ow!" she says, picking it up from where it fell.

Then: "Is this from Wonka's? I'm not sure we want a purple pirate."

"Sorry 'bout that, Angela," Barbossa replied, offering her the box. "These be jes' normal-type raisins. Got them at the movie theater. No magical properties so far, at any rate."

Alanna came up to the group, happy bundled up in about seventeen layes and sipping a cup of coffee.

She will find some way to pay anyone who can explain why the frell there is drumming in Chrissmass.
